How much does custom software cost?
It depends entirely on scope, but most defined projects start in the low five figures and scale with complexity. We give a fixed-scope estimate after a short discovery — and we'll tell you honestly if an off-the-shelf tool would serve you better than a custom build.
How long does a build take?
A focused MVP is typically 6–12 weeks; larger platforms run in phased releases so you see working software early and often. We define the milestones and the first shippable increment during the Define stage.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do — fully. We hand over the repository, the infrastructure and the documentation. There's no lock-in: another team could pick up the project if you ever needed them to.
What technologies do you use?
We favour modern, widely-supported stacks — TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node, and .NET where it fits — on cloud infrastructure (typically AWS or Vercel). We choose the stack to suit the problem and your team, not the other way round.
What happens after launch?
Software is never 'done'. We offer ongoing support and a Compound retainer for maintenance, monitoring and iterative improvement — or we'll equip your in-house team to run it themselves.
How do you handle confidentiality?
We sign an NDA before discovery if you'd like one, keep access on a least-privilege basis, and never reuse your code or data. Your project is yours.
