APEX WESTWe Drive Success
Glasgow studio · serving the central belt

A marketing agency for central Scotland — and the brands building from it.

Apex West is a Glasgow-based digital marketing agency working with brands across the central belt — from Renfrewshire through Lanarkshire and the Forth Valley, out to Edinburgh and the Lothians. Senior-led work, in person where it matters, remote where it doesn't.

Where we work

Five sub-regions of central Scotland — and the towns we serve in each.

Geographic specifics aren't a sales tactic; they're how we plan calendars, travel and account coverage. Here's the honest picture of where we work in person versus remote.

Greater Glasgow & Renfrewshire

Most of our day-to-day work happens within a 20-minute drive of our West George Street studio — across Glasgow itself, Paisley, Renfrew, the West End and the Southside. Common briefs from this region: Shopify builds for DTC consumer brands launching out of the city, B2B SaaS lead-gen for the cluster of tech companies along the M8 corridor, and brand work for hospitality and retail. We're often in person for kickoffs, monthly reviews and creative workshops; the rest is remote.

Lanarkshire

North and South Lanarkshire feature strongly in the considered-purchase ecommerce work we tend to take on — automotive parts, home improvement, manufacturer-direct retail. Hamilton, Motherwell and the M74 corridor tend to be our pick-up points; we'll travel to client sites for launch events and quarterly business reviews, but the production work happens at the studio.

Edinburgh & the Lothians

Edinburgh is our second-most-served city. The market skews differently from Glasgow — more fintech, more government and public-sector adjacent, more traditional financial services — and the agency mix reflects that. We work remotely with most Edinburgh clients but make a point of being in the city monthly for in-person sessions. Common engagements: SEO and content for fintech brands, paid for Edinburgh-based DTC, web for design-led retailers.

Stirling & Forth Valley

Stirling and Falkirk sit roughly halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, and we pick up retainers across both. The economic mix is genuinely diverse — Stirling has a strong university and tourism economy, Falkirk leans industrial and logistics. Most of our work here is brand and web for tourism, hospitality and consumer brands looking to scale beyond local trade.

Inverclyde, Argyll & the West

Greenock, Gourock and the Inverclyde corridor are part of the wider Glasgow commute and we work with several brands based on the Clyde — typically marine, outdoor and hospitality categories. Helensburgh and Dumbarton are inside our regular travel radius for in-person work.

FAQ

Common questions about our service area.

Do you work with brands outside Glasgow?

Yes — most of our retainers are with brands across the central belt and the wider UK. The Glasgow studio is where the senior team sits; the work happens wherever the client is. We travel for kickoffs, quarterly reviews and creative workshops; week-to-week production is remote.

Can you visit our office for in-person workshops?

Yes, anywhere in central Scotland. As a rough guide we'll come to you in person for monthly reviews if you're inside about an hour's drive of our West George Street studio (so most of the central belt). Further afield, we batch in-person visits to quarterly milestones and use Zoom and Loom for the day-to-day.

Do you have an Edinburgh studio?

No — we're a single-studio agency in Glasgow city centre. We work with a number of Edinburgh clients on retainer and visit the city monthly for in-person sessions, but we don't pretend to have an Edinburgh office we don't have. If we did open one, we'd tell you.

What if my business is in a town not listed on this page?

We work across the whole of central Scotland and the wider UK — the towns listed here are the ones we work in most often, not an exclusive list. If you're based in a town we haven't named, get in touch anyway; we almost certainly can support you.

Do you work with public sector or third-sector clients?

Selectively. We've delivered work for arts, culture and education clients across Scotland but we don't pretend to be a procurement-framework specialist. If you're a public body navigating a digital transformation or comms project, talk to us — if we're not the right fit, we'll honestly tell you.

How is working with a Scottish agency different from a London one?

Day-to-day delivery is identical — the work happens in software and Zoom calls, not in person. The main differences are overhead structure (Scottish rates are typically 20–30% lower than London for the same senior-led team) and local knowledge for Scottish-facing campaigns where regional creative, language and media planning matter.
